This Privacy Policy explains how SnapStitch (package name: com.YashbSolutionsLLC.SnapStitch) handles information when you use the app.

SnapStitch is designed to process your media on your device to create long screenshots from videos, images, and webpages.

Summary: SnapStitch does not run its own cloud account system and does not sell your personal data. Most processing occurs locally on your device.

1. Information We Collect

SnapStitch does not require account creation and does not directly collect personal identifiers such as your name, phone number, or address.

Depending on how you use the app, the app can access content that you choose to provide, such as:

Videos and images you select for stitching.
URLs you enter to capture webpages.
Media shared to SnapStitch from other apps.

This content is used only to provide app features.

2. How Your Data Is Used

Data accessed by SnapStitch is used to:

Stitch screenshots and videos into long images.
Generate preview files and exports (for example PNG or PDF).
Support optional text processing features (such as OCR-based workflows).
Display progress notifications while background processing is running.

3. App Permissions and Why They Are Needed

READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_MEDIA_VIDEO / READ_MEDIA_VISUAL_USER_SELECTED (and READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on older Android) Used to let you pick images and videos from your device for stitching.

INTERNET Used when you choose URL capture so webpages can be loaded. Internet is not required for all app features.

POST_NOTIFICATIONS Used to show progress/status notifications for ongoing stitching tasks.

FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROJECTION Used for long-running background tasks and optional in-app screen capture features.

4. Data Storage and Retention

SnapStitch stores working files, previews, and exported output on your device storage. Job history and certain app preferences are stored locally on your device.

You can remove app data by deleting exported files and/or clearing app storage in Android settings.

If Android backup is enabled on your device, some app settings may be included in system-level backups managed by your platform provider.

5. Data Sharing

SnapStitch does not sell your personal data.

Data is only shared when you explicitly choose actions such as:

Sharing an exported file to another app.
Opening or viewing a webpage URL you entered.

6. Third-Party Services and Libraries

SnapStitch may include third-party libraries to provide app functionality (for example image loading and on-device text recognition).

These libraries are used for app features and are not used by SnapStitch to run ads or to sell personal data. If a third-party service is invoked (such as loading a webpage), that third party may process data under its own policies.

We use reasonable technical measures to reduce risk, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for managing access to your own device and exported files.
